Name

Bfldtype — Return the filed type for compiled field id

Synopsis

#include <ubf.h>

int Bfldtype (BFLDID bfldid);

Link with -lubf -lnstd -lm -lpthread

DESCRIPTION

Return the field type of compiled filed id in bfldid.

RETURN VALUE

On success, Bfldtype() returns the filed type (See BFLD_SHORT,..,BFLD_CARRAY constants); on error, -1 is returned, with Berror set to indicate the error.

ERRORS

Function does not return errors. In case of invalid field (first bits bad higher than BFLD_CARRAY), and invalid type will be returned.
